Carpenters Cross Pendant

This pendant is two sided! I put into each one of these what goes into our larger crosses. Each one is made from cutting and planing to thickness a solid Sapele board. The organic shape of the cross is then cut out by hand on a scroll saw, so they will be slightly different. No CNC or laser engravers here. One side is finished natural to a semi gloss sheen. The other side is finished with a Kona brown finish. The edges are sealed with a black acrylic to give extra protection on the end grain so these little guys won’t dry out over time. Everything is top-coated and buffed to a semi-gloss sheen.

An aged bronze eye hook and pinch clip is then added. The 20” ball chain is also included. The ball chain can easily be sized shorter by the wearer.
