Almost all the crosses that I’ve designed have been inspired by something that I have gone through personally, and the From Within Cross is no different. When going through a rough journey and wondering where God was, I realized that He was right there all along. The Holy Spirit was with me and all I needed to do was look within and see that He was listening and guiding my steps the entire time.

This From Within Cross is made of Solid Hard Maple. This actually can be one of the most difficult crosses to make. The grain has to be just at just the right angle or it will let you know its not by cracking once the edges are torched and sealed. It has been a wonderfully blessed and frustrating process learning this. Yes, it is worth it every time I learn something on a cross. It’s part of the process of always doing my best for the Lord and never giving up. The message of this cross is what it is all about.

The edges are burned but the face of this From Within Cross in Maple is left natural. It is finished to a nice semi-gloss sheen which is wonderful to the touch. Ready to hang.
