1 Timothy 4:12 Let no one show little respect for you because you are young. Show other Christians how to live by your life. They should be able to follow you in the way you talk and in what you do. Show them how to live in faith and in love and in holy living.
Your Age should not have a bearing on your relationship with God. Sure, as we get older we gain knowledge of this world and learn from our mistakes. It’s part of growing up to take your punches in this life and learn from them. But, to live in a spiritual world with God? There is no age limit! Rest assured, someone will always be older than you and consider you to be young from their perspective. But, if you share your knowledge of God’s works in your life your age will suddenly not matter.
When I was in my early 20’s I used to say “like my father said” or “like my granddad said” to give my own knowledge and words some kind of validity. I accepted I was looked at as too young and this helped me seem like at least I was listening to my elders and gaining their knowledge. I regret this..
Speak up if you want to share your knowledge and experiences. Let your Heavenly Father lead you. He is the one who possess all knowledge. Let him speak through you no matter what your age is. You are never too young or old to be a child of God.
