Divine Crosses is just listed as a “woodworking” business on paper, but it’s always going to be more personal and complicated than that simple description…it became more Personal 2 days ago. After Kayla passed in the hospital from gunshot wounds from a senseless killer, I received a phone call from a family friend asking for me to make a cross to be placed at her memorial. Hearing the account of what happened from someone close to her is going to be engrained into me forever. The sadness was overwhelming. I can’t wrap my head around the evil act that happened in front of her two year old son. I stopped everything I had scheduled and prayed for God to make my hands swift and accurate and I tried my best to wrap my heart around it instead of my head. Please continue to join me in praying for this family as they search for Peace in all of this.
