No pretty pictures today.. Just a message :)

Matthew 1:19-20 Joseph was her promised husband. He was a good man and did not want to make it hard for Mary in front of people. He thought it would be good to break the promised marriage without people knowing it. While he was thinking about this, an angel of the Lord came to him in a dream. The angel said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. She is to become a mother by the Holy Spirit.

Even when we receive God’s instructions our minds tend to analyze them and overthink the outcome. Joseph was worried about the “What if’s” of marrying Mary. He was worried about what people might think of her. How many times have we had a clear sign from God and still worried about the “What if’s?”

God will tell us “What will happen” we just have to let it happen. Yes, we will lose people we call friends. Yes, we may be viewed differently in public. If we can just accept God’s plan for us though, what other’s think won’t matter.

Over the past few months we’ve seen people we thought were friends become very quiet and distance themselves from us. The more crosses we make the more the whispers and rumors become louder trying to create a category so people can define or dismiss us. It makes it easier for them. I understand that and hold no fault against them. As much as it may hurt, Please stick with God’s plan for you no matter what. I promise that as time goes on, what others think won’t matter and you’ll be happier than you’ve ever been.
