Made from Southern Tulip. The translation of "fleur-de-lis" is "flower of the lily." This symbol, depicting a stylized lily has many meanings throughout history. It suggests Power, Purity, Life and the Holy Trinity. Legend says that an angel presented Clovis, the Merovingian king of the Franks, with a golden lily symbolizing his purification upon his conversion to Christianity. It is also said that Clovis adopted the symbol when
water lilies showed him how to safely cross a river and thus succeed in battle.
